Sudoswap is a platform that allows you to trade your NFTs. Some witches in Crypto Coven have used this platform to facilitate swaps of witches. Sudoswap reduces some of the risk for both parties by being the intermediary for trading NFTs.
You can set up a trade on sudoswap in a few easy steps. Before setting up a trade, make sure you have some Ethereum (ETH) in your wallet to cover gas fees ($60-80 in total gas fees, can be split with the other party). Also, please be aware that sudoswap can be glitchy which may result in losing some gas while setting up a trade.
Note: This guide was created using MetaMask.
You'll want to grab a few important pieces of information, listed below, as well as make sure have some Ethereum (ETH) in your wallet to cover gas fees.
Here are the bits you want:
Swappee’s Wallet Address: Ask the person you're trading with for their wallet address to ensure they are the only person who can accept the swap. You can also get this by navigating to the NFT you’re swapping for on Opensea and copying the owner’s wallet address under their profile photo (good to verify they gave you the correct address by comparing with the one on their Opensea profile!)
Smart Contract Address: You'll need the smart contract address of the project you want to swap for (also known as “Asset address” when swapping). Some projects will post the contract address in Discord (like Crypto Coven).
Token ID/Token Standard: Finally, you need to find the "Token ID" for the NFT you’d like to receive and note the "Token Standard" (also known as “Asset type” when swapping). Navigate to the NFT you’re trading for on OpenSea, and you’ll find the Token ID and Standard under the details section. The token standard for Crypto Covens is ERC-721.
Now you're ready to create your swap!
